This lightly scented cleanser removes surface impurities such as pollutants, make-up, bacteria and excess oil, as well as exfoliating the skin to remove dead skin cells, without disturbing the delicate moisture and oil balance.
A natural fruit acid complex containing sugar cane extract, lemon, and orange extract forms a high quality AHA that is less irritating than comparable products. Alpha and beta-hydroxy acids are natural substances derived from fruits, sugar and other plants.
The sugar cane extract contains natural glycolic acid and the fruit acids contain the important alpha hydroxy acids. The complex has been proven to be effective in minimizing the appearance of wrinkles, age spots and fine lines. They work by loosening the glue-like bonds in the upper dermis thereby gently exfoliating the dead, dull skin cells.
As a person ages the natural sloughing process of these dead cells slows. AHA's encourage the sloughing and new cell renewal to be more like that of younger skin. The result is fresher, smoother, more even skin tone. These natural acids don't irritate, cause photosensitivity or redness like other anti-aging ingredients such as Retin-A.
Centella asiatica, otherwise known as Gotu Kola, acts on collagen to prevent cellulite, heal wounds and assists against hypertension. The Asiatic acid helps prevent wrinkles and firms the skin, while the compound Asiaticoside stimulates collagen synthesis.

Just Right
First time I've tried the Centella and Citrus Facial Cleanser and I've been using it ever other day for a couple of weeks. It feels great on my skin and has just the right amount of scrub. At the same tie, it feels silky and smooth on my 'mature' skin. It is definitely a keeper for me. First times using the Centella and Citrus Cleanser. I really like how it feels on my face. It has a very gentle scrub feeling and feels silky and smooth.
