Product Description
Latin Name: Cocos nucifera
Method of Extraction: Fractionated
Cultivation: Organic
Shelf Life: Very Stable, long shelf life
Common Uses
Fractionated Coconut Oil contains only the medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) of coconut oil, making it liquid and very stable. It is produced through the hydrolysis of coconut oil and is then fractionated by steam distillation. Fractionated Coconut is a highly refined oil and does not contain the same properties as the natural, solid coconut butter.
Fractionated Coconut Oil has an indefinite shelf life and is a light, non-greasy, non-staining, liquid oil. It is a good choice for use in massage as it washes off massage tables easily and does not impart an odour to linens. It can be included in creams, lotions, bath oils, bath salts and soap. Use as a substitute for Sweet Almond Oil if you are worried about rancidity or a short shelf life.

Best Oil
This fractionated coconut oil is by far the best for my massage practice. It's got the perfect viscosity, doesn't smell, and washes off easily. I would never buy any other.

Pure and Simple
As Massage Therapists, we have tried A LOT of massage mediums. The biggest problems with them are a) price, b) stains and odor, c) versatility. This Fractionated Coconut Oil has been keeping our massage therapy practice clean and affordable. A) Commercial massage oils are as overpriced as most other "health and beauty" -related products. It's just not viable to use them as liberally as we need to in our practice. This oil beats all but the cheapest of cooking oils on price. B) Some massage oils smell wonderful (read, essential oil additives), but not everyone enjoys the same thing. Some massage oils smell horrible after they build up on massage sheets. This oil, while still able to create stains if used too liberally and/or not washed quickly, rinses out of sheets very well, and carries no smell on application, nor carrying forward through multiple uses/washings. C) Some massage therapists have different oils for different massage techniques/approaches. But that can create clutter, and be cumbersome to switch between during a treatment. This oil is not heavy enough to sit on the skin, but also thick enough to provide a great glide. Thanks, Rae!

Wonderful carrier oil
I love this coconut oil and use it often as a carrier oil. Many people comment on how nice it feels on their skin and I agree!

Excellent for massage, stays well and is light.
I have used fractionated coconut oil for massage for many years, and have been purchasing it from Rae Dunphy Aromatics for over 12 years and have always loved it.

Purchased quite the lot from Rae Dunphy
So I ordered 15 essential oils and a carrier oil at the end of May, and I received them very quickly and they were packaged fabulously. I can't wait to start my oils with the correspondence course I'm taking. I appreciate the great service, quick delivery, and great products.

No other oil compares!
So great to work with in my massage therapy practice. Stable shelf life, no rancid smells or staining on my linens. Best of all, I love that it is good for me and my clients.
