Most Fir essential oils are primarily monoterpenes. They are antiseptic, excellent for respiratory complaints, pulmonary antiseptics, and anti-viral. Use for muscular aches and pains, and rheumatism. They are generally strengthening, and stimulating. Emotionally they are opening, elevating, grounding, and balancing. The exception is Siberian Fir (Abies siberica) which contains about 40% esters (1-Bornyl acetate), making it especially calming and tonic to the nervous system, balancing, sedative, anti-spasmodic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory. Siberian Fir has the most lovely scent, fruity and sweet.

I've previously purchased this product, but not directly from Rae Dunphy. I was pleased to discover the Rae Dunphy website easy to use and the service efficient.

I love this scent! Reminds me of being in Bragg Creek on a hike. We have it radiate through our home. My husband loves it also. Definite winner in our home!
